• History and Background

    Established in 2015, the Lanier High Teen Wellness Clinic is a collaborative effort between the University of Mississippi (UMC) Departments of Nursing, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, School of Health Related Professions, Department of Health Sciences, Dentistry, Occupational Therapy and Audiology. the Lanier High Teen Wellness clinic is an innovative health-care delivery model that offers coordinated youth-centered health care for teens during school hours, allowing teens to access care without disruption to their school schedules or their parents' work schedules.

     The Lanier High Teen Wellness clinic was funded by the University of Mississippi Medical Center, UMC School of Nursing, and Opus RX. Additionally, the National Lanier Alumni Association has offered financial gifts for the renovation of the clinic and for the Concussion Screening Program.
