100 Black Men Recognize a JPS Scholar and Parent for Their Accomplishments in the Mentorship Program
ÐÓ°É 21, 2024 ¨C 100 Black Men mentors and mentees were celebrated as part of the 34th Annual Mentoring Banquet. Awards were presented to the Mentee of the Year as well as the Mentor of the Year.

ÐÓ°É Public School District Maintains ¡®C¡¯ Rating on Mississippi Academic Assessment Program
September 17, 2024 ¨C ÐÓ°É Public Schools maintained a "C" rating on the latest Mississippi Academic Assessment Program. Additionally, we saw slight increases in Science proficiency and grade level progress worth celebrating.

September 13, 2024 ¨C JPS is well-represented in this year's Teach Plus Mississippi Policy cohort, an organization that advances equity, opportunity, and student success. Four JPS teachers are new 2024-2025 fellows, and one will serve as a Lead Senior Fellow.
